At Ventura, the health and safety of our passengers, employees, pilots and crew members are always our top priority.
Now more than ever, as we enter into the new normal with addressing COVID-19 and ever-changing travel restrictions, we have raised the standards to ensure safety of you, your family, friends and colleagues. Ventura is not only complying with the health guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), we have implemented a disinfection and clean-inspection protocol for each of our aircraft before and after each flight.
There are many health benefits to fly private charter and our team works diligently pre-, during and post-flight to ensure a clean and sanitized aircraft. Below are a list of safety measures and precautions we are taking to protect our passengers and all of our employees.
PRE-FLIGHT
- All employees have been provided with the information and means to be tested for COVID-19 as well as new protocol for entering and moving about the workplace.
- Passengers must complete a health questionnaire prior to flight.
- Pilot health is monitored on a trip-by-trip basis. Pilots presenting with any symptoms will be removed from duty.
- Our crewmembers are regularly washing and sanitizing their hands to protect against the spread of COVID-19.
- Pre- and post-flight enhanced cleaning procedures follow the COVID-19 guidance of the CDC, WHO, and the FAA. Our aircraft are treated every 90-days, at a minimum, with an anti-microbial product proven to protect against COVID-19. Between flights, all seats and interior surfaces are treated with EPA-approved disinfectants to sanitize and clean all touchpoint areas.
DURING-FLIGHT
- Flight crew is required to wear facemasks at all times except in the cockpit.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is made available on board each flight including hand sanitizer, facemasks and gloves.
- Social distancing implemented at all times when possible.
- The pressurization system on our aircraft replaces the cabin air with fresh outside air to create a clean ventilation experience.
POST-FLIGHT
- Pre- and post-flight enhanced cleaning procedures follow the COVID-19 guidance of the CDC, WHO, and the FAA. Our aircraft are treated every 90-days, at a minimum, with an anti-microbial product proven to protect against Covid-19. Between flights, all seats and interior surfaces are treated with EPA-approved disinfectants to sanitize and clean all touchpoint areas.
- Pre- and post-flight enhanced aircraft cleaning according to CDC guidelines includes, but not limited to utilizing FDA, CDC and EPA-approved disinfectants, cabin fogging, antimicrobial sprays and cleaning products, and more.
